[Transcribed from original document by Lisabeth M. Holloway]

Know all men by these present that I Elizabeth Stilly of the Parish of St. Helena and Territory of Orleans do give grant and make over to James Holloway my son and the son of John Holloway dec'd and one of his heirs, for whom I have been guardian a certain negroe woman named Lucey together with her two children named Jeffrey & Isaac, and also her future increase for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred dollars due by me as guardian to the said James in the year 1800 which said negroe woman and children do of right belong to the said James Holloway as son and heir of John Holloway in as much as the said negroe woman Lucey was originally the property of the said John Holloway dec'd and the said James and his heirs I do warrant and defend from me and my heirs forever. In witness whereof I do hereby set my hand and seal this 23rd Dec 1811.
